The Process
Step 1: The Initial Inquiry
Complete an Inquiry Form: The Inquiry Form is our initial application. No appointment is necessary to fill out the form. We recommend that you come into our office to fill out this form. If you wish, you may submit your resume with the Inquiry Form. Our office is open from 8:00-5:00, Monday thru Friday. Inquiry Forms remain active for a month. If you do not receive a call from our office after a month has past, please come in and resubmit the form.
OR
Respond to an Advertisement or Online Job Listing: Applicants responding to advertisements online job listings may contact the listed Staffing Coordinator to inquire about the position. Staffing Coordinator may be contacted by email or by calling the office where the position is being offered.
Step 2: The Interview
Schedule an Interview: A Staffing Coordinator will contact candidates who are qualified for open positions. Applicants should plan at least 1 hour for our interview process.
Complete an Application: Prior to your interview, you will be asked to complete an application. Please be prepared to list employment history from your last four positions. (Job title, contact information, dates of employment, wage/salary information.)
Interview: Meet with a Staffing Coordinator to discuss employment opportunities.
Complete Forms I-9 & W-4: Under federal immigration law, you must verify that you are legally authorized to work in the United States. Before you can be employed, proof of eligibility and a completed I-9 Form are necessary. Please bring acceptable form(s) of identification to complete the I-9. You will be asked to complete an Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate (Form W-4).
Read Safety Rules Training Manuals: All applicants who would like to be considered for employment through Sundance Personnel Solutions must complete safety training.
Testing: Certain positions require testing. Tests may include skills testing (e.g. typing, spreadsheets, dexterity, etc). Other tests may include strength and agility tests and drug testing. All tests given are job related.
Step 3: Job Placement & Checking-in
Going to Work: After completing the interview process (Step 2) applicants go into a general pool for the type of work that they are seeking. Being accepted for this pool does not guarantee employment. As our office receives orders from various employers, individuals from the general pool are selected and matched according to the essential job tasks given to us by the employer client. In the event that the applicant interviews in response to a specific job opening, their job background will be matched with the essential functions of that specific position.
Checking-in: After the interview, employee candidates are encouraged to check-in once a week by phone; please call the office where the interview took place.
